The family of pop icon Michael Jackson has responded to the Jackson document Leaving Neverland in a documentary of their own, in which two men claim that they were sexually abused by the King of Pop as a child.
In Neverland Firsthand: Investigating the Michael Jackson Documentary, Michael’s cousin Taj Jackson and his niece Brandi Jackson respond to the controversial HBO documentary. Brandi claims to have had a relationship for ten years with Wade Robson, one of Michael’s victims who is interviewed in Leaving Neverland. According to Brandi, he was always a bit of “an opportunist.”
“Wade says he had a relationship with my uncle, that they were in love,” says Brandi. “He says that my uncle deprived him of women, but that is not true. My uncle has just brought us together. I find it fascinating that he thinks he can wipe out ten years of his life.”
Lies
Brandi therefore wants to “confront Wade with his lies”. “I would tell him to stop lying. I’m not interested in why he does it. He just has to stop. These lies must stop and it’s not okay. My uncle took care of this man and was very good for him and his family and he knows it. “
