Summing up the next fashionable results of the week: Irina Shayk sets us up for a Christmas mood, Prince Charles agitates for conscious fashion, and Billie Eilish, Gus Van Sant and Harry Styles have teamed up for the Gucci film project. We talk about this and other in our digest.
Irina Shayk has long been one of the main muses of Donatella Versace. Not without her participation and shooting the brand’s Christmas campaign, which was presented to the public this week.
It seems that the summer has just ended? Versace is already offering Christmas tree gifts! The video was also inspired by an exciting and touching moment with which many people associate the Christmas holidays – a trip home to their family.
Model Adut Akech, football player and grandson of the legendary Mohammed Ali – Biagio Ali Walsh and others also became heroes of the campaign.
Back in late October, it became known that the creative director of Gucci Alessandro Michele was preparing a joint project with director Gus Van Sant, and now some details of the collaboration have appeared. The creator of Good Will Hunting, The Elephant, and My Own Private Idaho has directed a seven-part miniseries for the brand, featuring the new Gucci collection. Michele himself became the co-director.
The lead role went to actress Sylvia Calderoni, but the series also features Harry Styles and Billie Eilish, who are friends and partners of the brand (remember that Styles has already starred in Gucci campaigns).
It will premiere at the Gucci Fest, which will take place online from November 16 to 22 (streaming available on YouTube). The program also included mini-films featuring works by 15 independent designers.
