How to change the Resolution of Video Recording on iPhone?
Taking selfies and making videos of our own is quite a trend and of course need of the day. Although iPhone 6S comes with the 16GB model but even this would run ouf of space when recording at the 4K resolution. Lets suppose you have bought a iPhone with 6S with 16GB model and you haven’t installed anyting extra one still you would be able to record only 40 minutes of 4K resolution before iPhone 6s runs out of space. But if we explore it you would know that if you lower the setting of recording you would be able to store more videos on your iphone.
Although you don’t have a very large amount of vidoes on your iPhone but still it is a good idea to lower the video recording setting because viewing 4K videos on a small screen would be just the wastage of resources.
Moreover 4K video size is a large size so taking backup of your iphone would be a real pain.
Changing of setting for video Recording in iPhone 6S
1. Opne the Setting app on your iPhone’s home screen.
2. scroll down and select the Photos & Camera option.
3. Under the Camera section, you can see 2 options of resolution for videos. A. Record Video B. Record Slo-mo. Select the one you want to change.
4. iPhone 6 defualt resolution is 1080P at 30fps. Select 720p HD at 30 fps to save space. If you own iPhone 6S, 4K resolution will be available in the drop down.
According to Apple, one minute of video will be approximately the following sizes:
60 MB with 720p HD at 30 fps
130 MB with 1080p HD at 30fps
200 MB with 1080 HD at 60 fps
