Harrison Ford (78) injured his shoulder while filming the fifth Indiana Jones part. The actor will therefore not be able to play for the new film for the time being, Variety reports .
It is unknown what exactly happened to Ford or how serious the injury is. It happened while shooting a fight scene, producer Disney said.
It is currently being considered what treatment Ford will need and how long he will be absent. In the meantime, it will be run for the time being and the film schedule will be adjusted if necessary.
Shooting started earlier in June in the UK. The shooting has been postponed several times due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In addition to Ford, Mads Mikkelsen and Phoebe Waller-Bridge also play roles in the new adventure film. It is intended that Indiana Jones 5 to July 29 2022 premieres. That’s nearly fifteen years after Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull , which came out in 2008.
