George Clooney (60) thought his last hour had come when he had a motorcycle accident in June 2018. The actor “waited for the lights to go out,” he told The Sunday Times.

“I’m fairly positive, but that made it clear to me that you’re really just entertainment for them.”

George, 60, collided head-on with a car on the Italian island of Sardinia at the time. He crashed into the windshield then fell to the ground. George remembers that moment well, especially as people gathered around him and took pictures and videos of him.

“When you’re famous and you lay there on the floor, thinking your last hour has come, you suddenly realize that for some people that’s just going to be entertainment on their Facebook page,” George said. “I’m fairly positive, but that made it clear to me that you’re really just entertainment for them. You actually want to grab all those people and shake them.”

George, however, was left with nothing from the accident. He suffered bruises to an arm and knee and had problems with his pelvis for some time. His wife Amal then forbade him to ever ride a motorcycle again.
