Actor Mike Hagerty, best known for his role in ‘Friends’, died early this month as a result of severe side effects after antibiotics. Sources tell ‘TMZ’ that he subsequently fell into a coma.
Mike contracted an infection on one of his legs in April. The antibiotics he was given in the hospital ultimately proved fatal to him, insiders say to the entertainment site. He turned 67 years old.
The actor was known to the general public for his regular guest appearances as building inspector Mr. Teeger in the comedy Friends . Between 1995 and 2001, he appeared regularly in the world-famous series. In addition to Friends , he starred in numerous other series such as Boston Legal, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Cheers, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Grey’s Anatomy , and Seinfeld .
He also had regular roles on the FOX series The George Carlin Show and on a season of Lucky Louie . Most recently, the actor played the role of Ed Miller in HBO ‘s Somebody Somewhere.
