Lady Gaga cannot count on her father’s support after President Donald Trump insulted her. On Monday the president called Stefani Germanotti, as the singer is called in full, “not too good”.
That didn’t stop father Joe Germanotta from expressing his support for the presidential candidate, People magazine writes. “Trump 2020,” he posted on Twitter. Not long after, he deleted the message again. “You may have noticed that my political and spiritual views differ,” he later told The New York Post. That message is also no longer online.
On Monday, Trump lashed out at Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jovi, Beyoncé and Jay-Z after they expressed support for presidential candidate Joe Biden. “Well, now Sleepy Joe has the support of Lady Gaga,” Trump said at the time. “I can tell you so many stories about that woman, really believe me. Jon Bon Jovi is just like that. Whenever we meet he kisses the ground I walk on and says, ‘Oh Mister President this, oh Mister President that. “He’s always trying to do something for himself, just like all those other types.”
