Eurovision in Concert cannot take place due to the new measures taken by the government with regard to the corona crisis. For the event, which was planned on April 4, a large part of the participants of the Songfestival would already come to the Netherlands.
“On behalf of the government, the event ban has been extended to April 6. At the moment, we are looking at all possible options around Eurovision in Concert. As soon as there is more information, we will of course report this as soon as possible,” the organization reports on their website .
It is not yet clear how many concerts and other public events can take place. The Association of Event Makers (VVEM) was already mapping out the numbers before this new measure was taken.
VVEM includes Ziggo Dome, AFAS Live, GelreDome and Rotterdam Ahoy.
