During a power outage, the actor had to break down his door to get to the call of his new movie.
Dwayne Johnson showed his physical strength at home on Friday, ripping the electric gate out of his wall during a power outage.
A storm cut power to his property, forcing the ex-wrestler to take drastic measures in order to get to work on the set of Black Adam in time.
“I tried to override the hydraulics to open the doors, which usually works when the power goes out, but this time it didn’t,” Johnson wrote under a photo of his broken door lying on the ground.
“I made a few calls to see how quickly technical support could get there, but I couldn’t wait 45 minutes when I know I have hundreds of production team members waiting for me to go to work so we can start our day.”
“I pushed, pulled and tore the door completely off. I ripped it completely out of the brick wall, cut the steel hydraulics and threw it on the lawn. “
The Jumanji: The Next Level star added: “My security team was able to meet with the gate technician and welders about an hour later, and they were apparently ‘incredulous and equally scared’ about how I started it.”
“It’s not my best moment, but a man has to go to work.”
