The actor says that everything will depend on the acceptance of the second part, ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’.
Hollywood actor and producer Dwayne Johnson says that the possibility of dating a third movie of the “Jumanji” franchise depends entirely on the public’s reaction to the next second part, ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’.
When asked about plans for the third part, Johnson said: “That depends on the audience. When we did the first one, we thought the concept was unique and we would see what happens. We never thought about doing the second part. So, the same applies here too. We will keep our eyes open and see how the second part is doing. ”
The world of Chris Van Allsburg’s book “Jumanji,” which tells the story of a young Alan Parrish trapped in a board game, came to the big screen in 1995. Robin Williams was the main character.
After getting lost in transit, confronting the monkeys and fighting other possibilities, the film revolved around how Parrish gets stuck in the board game and returns as an adult, and how he has to finish the game with his friends to escape the destiny, which he attracted on himself by throwing the dice.
In 2017, the story returned to the big screen with a modern twist. In “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” a group of high school students get lost in the jungle after putting their hands on a video game console with a version of the Jumanji game.
Despite ignoring history with a digital touch, the brands retained the essence of the story, as well as the magical elements. And they will return with more chaotic fun and another adventure trip to the jungle with “Jumanji: The Next Level”.
The film stars Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Nick Jonas. The new addition to the cast includes Awkwafina, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover.
