BTS Teams Up with Disney+: ‘Monuments: Beyond The Star’ Docu-Series Unveiled
Global sensation BTS has joined forces with Disney+ to bring fans an exclusive docu-series titled ‘BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star.’
This eight-episode journey promises an in-depth exploration of the K-pop septet’s remarkable 10-year career, spotlighting both their triumphant moments and challenges. The fly-on-the-wall style series includes never-before-seen interviews, performances, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the lives of Jung Jook, RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, V, and Jimin.
Taking audiences back to the group’s formation and beyond, the docu-series offers a glimpse into highly personal moments, including their initial meetings, the contract renewal process, and the struggles faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a press release, “BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star” is set to premiere on Disney+ on December 20. The first two episodes will be available on the release date, followed by the release of two new episodes every Wednesday.
While the K-pop sensation has been on hiatus since last summer, with members pursuing solo projects and fulfilling mandatory military service, Jung Kook recently hinted at an exciting future for BTS. In a conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, he expressed missing his bandmates and anticipated the incredible synergy of BTS in 2025. The group’s break has allowed individual members to explore their unique artistic endeavors, with Jung Kook releasing his debut solo album, ‘Golden,’ on November 3.
