Actress Dakota Johnson is set to play the lead role in the upcoming fake documentary-style series, “Rodeo Queens.”

Johnson is also linked to the project as an executive producer. The series follows a set of rodeo queens, who hope to compete for the coveted crown.

The project will begin work soon in the writers’ room, reports deadline.com.

Christy Hall has created the series and will act as a showrunner, with Carrie Brownstein as director.
