The ‘Black Panther’ star tragically died at age 43 after a secret four-year battle with colon cancer and now Anderson Mayor Terence Roberts has revealed plans to honor the late actor.
According to The New York Post, a memorial service will be held this Thursday (3), with speeches by a pastor, a former Chadwick high school classmate and the mayor himself.
There will be a ‘Black Panther’ exhibition and locals have submitted Chadwick-themed artwork for display.
To comply with social distancing, the amphitheater, which typically houses 10,000 people, will be open to just 5,000 on a first-come, first-served basis.
