Singer Beyoncé has won the most nominations for the Grammy Awards with nine nominations. The organization announced this on Tuesday evening during a press conference. The prizes will be awarded on January 31, 2021.
The singer has been nominated for awards in the categories for best recording and best song.
Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and rapper Roddy Ricch also received many nominations. Their total number of nominations comes to six.
Last year, eighteen-year-old Billie Eilish became the big winner of the Grammy Awards. She was the first artist to win Best Album, Best Recording, Best Song, and Best New Artist all in one year.
The Grammys will be awarded for the 63rd time in 2021. For the upcoming edition, some changes have been made to the names of the categories. For example, Best Urban Contemporary Album is now called Best Progressive R&B Album and the name Best World Music Album was changed to Best Global Music Album.
