After the Christmas season, fashion brands immediately begin to actively prepare for the next holiday – Valentine’s Day.
Traditionally, special collections are produced by lingerie brands. Campaigns for Victoria’s Secret and Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty brand appeared online today. Interestingly, Rihanna’s brand was called the “killer” VS, because she occupied an empty niche and launched her own show when the Victoria’s Secret brand was forced to go into the shadows a few years ago due to scandals related to harassment and discrimination against transgender and plus-size -models.
The Victoria’s Secret ad features Bella Hadid, Taylor Hill, Adut Akech and Paloma Elsesser, as well as VS’s first transgender model, Valentina Sampaio. At Savage x Fenty, Rihanna herself traditionally became the main star of the campaign, starring in a lace jumpsuit with a heart-shaped cutout on the chest.
Rihanna also unveiled a sportswear capsule collection for her February 12 Super Bowl performance.
