If the sixth movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean series actually comes, it is without Johnny Depp. That seems to confirm the scriptwriter of the first film from the franchise to Daily Mail.
“I think he will be remembered especially as Jack Sparrow”
The newspaper suggests in an interview with this Stuart Beattie that Depp will not return, whereupon the scriptwriter nods and says: “I think he did a great job.” He has made it clear, that is what he is best known for I think he will be remembered mainly as Jack Sparrow, the only role he has taken on five times. ”
Earlier this week, it leaked that studio Disney investigates the possibilities of a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean. The first five films in the series generated a total of more than 4.5 billion dollars. It was the first franchise of which more than one film went through the billion border; both Dead Man’s Chest (2006) and On Stranger Tides (2011) raked that amount.
