It looks like Alec Baldwin (64) is going back to work. According to ‘The New York Post’ he is making his comeback on Broadway where he gets a part in the show ‘Art’. It would be his first job since he was involved in the fatal shooting incident on the set of the western film ‘Rest’ last October.
At the time, Alec accidentally shot a camerawoman with a revolver. That happened when the 64-year-old actor was rehearsing his scene. Alec thought the gun wasn’t loaded, but it was. The FBI concluded earlier this month that he had pulled the trigger “for sure.” Alec continues to insist that he didn’t. “It shot by itself,” the actor recently reported in the podcast The Chris Cuomo Project.
Art , by Yasmina Reza, was shown on Broadway earlier in the 1990s. The play, then starring Alfred Molina, Victor Garber and Alan Alda, won the Tony Award for Best Play in 1998.
The last time Alec played on Broadway was in 2013, when he appeared in Orphans . Earlier, the actor indicated that he was having trouble finding a new job.
