Adam Sandler is going to present Saturday Night Live for the first time. The American comedian and actor, who became known in the 90s by the sketch show, is the host of the episode on May 4. The program announced this on Friday.

“We are happy to see Adam again at SNL during a night that will probably be very special”

“We are happy to see Adam again at SNL during an evening that will probably be very special,” says producer Lorne Michaels in a statement. Although Adam has never been seen as a host in Saturday Night Live, he has had a small guest role in the sketch show a few times in recent years. The last time was in 2015 during an episode in honor of the 40-year anniversary of SNL.
