Emily Ratajkowski explains how the paparazzi have made it difficult for her to have casual dating experiences following her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard.

In a recent episode of her High Low podcast, model and actress Emily Ratajkowski discussed the negative impact paparazzi have had on her ability to casually date since her divorce from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. She revealed that being photographed on dates has “screwed up” the natural process of getting to know someone and made her feel uncomfortable. Ratajkowski, who has been linked to several high-profile individuals following her divorce, also shared how difficult it is to be mindful of the people she’s seeing, as she doesn’t want to know when they’re going on another date.

The Victoria Secret model discussed the difficulties she faced with dating due to paparazzi attention. She said, “It’s been really hard, because basically, any time I go on another date, everybody knows, so the other guys I’m dating see it, and it has been kind of difficult, because of course they’re like, ‘Oh, didn’t talk to her last night,’ and then you know, there’s pictures of me out to dinner with someone else.”

She further added, “It sucks, and it really makes it hard also, to get to know someone without those kinds of things. They know exactly where I’m at even with things that I don’t necessarily want to share, and they don’t necessarily want to know.”
