According to an NYPD spokesperson, the death of a 46-year-old investment firm founder, who fell from a Manhattan rooftop bar on Wednesday evening, is being investigated as a suspected suicide. The man was a founder and partner at a Connecticut-based investment company.
This is not the first incident of its kind to occur at this location, as a similar incident occurred less than four months ago, in October, where an aspiring model fell from the same hotel bar, Bar 54, and hit a 27th-floor balcony. The 26-year-old woman was remembered as “sweet and loving” by her family.
