A demo of a video game usually offers a short overview of the game in question, a mission and the first minutes of the adventure. The experience will be more complete for the game BioWare Anthem.
Usually, when developers publish a demo of their games, it is usually short, just giving a brief idea of the game if they came to buy it. The same is often true of open betas, which are usually restricted to a chapter, a mission and not much more.
BioWare and EA will offer a complete Anthem demo
That being said, it seems that it is not the will of BioWare with its long-awaited Anthem. Indeed, EA – the game’s publisher – announced the upcoming arrival of a VIP demo available to all EA / Origin Access subscribers on Xbox One and PC. This demo will be available from February 1st, 2019 and will be a complete demo of the game.
It will not be the complete game, but according to Anthem’s lead producer, Mike Gamble, it would be a real part of the game and not just a technical demo. And the man to make it clear that this demo will offer exactly what players can find once the game is available. A decision to honor the two studios when we know that very often these demos are more used to get feedback from the players to refine the game than anything else.
See you on the 1st of February 2019 to discover it
This, of course, does not mean that EA and BioWare will not consider player feedback, but that will not be the goal of this demo. Anthem was originally due out this year but the title has been postponed to 2019. Currently, the release is scheduled for February 22, 2019, about three weeks after the launch of this demo.
