Last weekend, Hilary Swank married her boyfriend Philip Schneider, with whom she has been together for two years. The ceremony, which took place in secret, was held in the town of Carmel in California.
“It was timeless, I can not describe it in any other way, I was overwhelmed by gratitude that I could marry the man of my dreams and that the people who are dear to us were there, it was a dream come true,” says Swank.

The actress was escorted to the altar by her father, for whom she took a break from her acting a few years ago to help him recover from a lung transplant. Swank wore a wedding dress from the well-known Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab, who was made of lace, chiffon silk and organza silk. The veil was made of 6 meters of fabric and the work on the dress itself took 70 hours of work. That was only half of the man hours that sat in the entire dress: 150 hours.
Schneider’s marriage proposal, according to Swank, was very romantic: “We were walking in the mountains, when he was on his knees at a waterfall, and he had made sure that my dogs were also witness to it!”
It is the second wedding of the Oscar winner. From 1997 to 2007 she was married to Chad Lowe.
