None of the weapons found during a search of A$AP Rocky (33) on Wednesday were used in the shooting in November last year in which the rapper is said to be involved. A source at the Los Angeles Police Department informed entertainment site ‘TMZ’ on Friday.
The 33-year-old rapper was met by police at the Los Angeles airport on April 20. He was arrested for involvement in the shooting last year. An alleged victim allegedly stated that A$AP Rocky shot him multiple times. The rapper was released after paying bail.
The TMZ police source also said that video footage of the shooting in November has now surfaced. It is not yet clear whether the rapper is recognizable in these images.
Authorities say the guns found at ASAP Rocky’s home were definitively not used in the 2021 shooting. https://t.co/LynGtawC6K
