Britney Spears (40) has made it no secret in recent months that she does not have a good word for her family to say the least. For years, the pop princess was in receivership and her family managed her affairs, both privately and at work. Now Britney tells in scents and colors how she was put to work for the benefit of her family for years.
“No one should ever be treated like this”
Britney shares a long story about what has been done to her via Instagram, as we are used to from her by now. For example, she says that she had to work seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. “No days off,” she writes. The pop princess was also not allowed to shower alone, according to her own account. “So people always saw me naked, even when I had to change. They gave me medication. I could not speak freely and I had to be available at all times, ten hours a day. If I wasn’t, I’d have to stay longer.’
Nor did Britney ever envision a day when everything would be ‘over’. “I always had to go to bed at 9 p.m. All this my family forced me to do for thirteen years.’
Britney now says she “gave everything” while her family treated her “like a doll”. ‘But towards the audience I just performed, and on stage I did what was asked of me.’ All in all, the singer feels that she has been ‘humiliated’ by her family. “No one should ever be treated like that.”
The singer wants justice and will not stop until the people who have damaged her pay for it. This is a message for all the people who have been through the same as me. You are not alone!’
