Lorne Michael’s seems very excited about a certain actor’s return to SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! Following SNL’s Win for outstanding variety sketch series at the 2021 Emmy Awards on Sunday, the show’s executive producer informed the reporters, including ET’s Lauren Zima, that Jason Sudeikis will be appearing on the upcoming 47th season.
He stated, “I’m gonna tell you much, only because we haven’t announced who’s hosting and who the first four are, but I don’t think anybody will be heartbroken. I think people will be happy with what we have,” these words were stated by 76-years old Michael’s, before teasing Sudeikis return.
In another sentence he said, “he’ll be coming back soon. I’m very happy about that, then he felt good and revealed about the other actor who also worked on SNL from 2003 to 2013
This announcement done by Michael’s came out after Sudeikis’s when ted lesso dominated at the Emmy’s, winning season awards including outstanding comedy series and marvelous lead actor in a comedy series. In his award acceptance speech Sudeikis thanked his family, castmates, and mentors, from which one of them is Michael’s.
During that speech Sudeikis realized that the SNL executive wasn’t in his seat and he made fun of him by saying that he had gone “to go take a dump now. Perfect.”
Continuing his joke, he also added that, “He’s gonna get home, he’s gonna watch it, he loves watching the Emmy’s at home. Its’s fine, “Sudeikis continued, earning laughs from the audience.
But the reality is that Michael’s has been all the time talking to media about Jason and that he is very happy with what he does and his success. While speaking to some reporters after his acceptance speech Sudeikis equipped of his joke about Michael’s, “Once a not ready for prime time player, always a not ready for prime time player.”
