Jackson worked with Gyllenhaal in Spider-Man: Far From Home with director Jon Watts.
Actor Samuel L. Jackson says that actor Jake Gyllenhaal is very studious and works well on what he wants to do and how he wants to do it.
“He is very studious and works on what he wants and how he wants to do it. So when it appears, it has a plan and that is always good because it gives you something to do and also keeps you alert, ”said Jackson.
Jackson worked with Gyllenhaal in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Director Jon Watts follows the aftermath of “Avengers: Endgame,” and brought Tom Holland as Spider-Man on the big screen. Gyllenhaal entered the franchise with the role of Mysterio.
Speaking of working in Holland, Jackson said: “I was surprised to see Tom work. He has a great level of energy. He knows this character and brings something that Spider-Man really needs: youthful exuberance. Many of us who have been around here are somewhat tired while he is not. He is excited and we love that about him. ”
When filming his first scene with Holland, Jackson, who is seen as Nick Fury in the movie, said: “The first time Tom discovers me in this movie was really a great moment. It was like the first day I worked. I’m sitting there and he also has the same type of reaction and me too. I thought, ‘Oh my God! I will work with Spider-Man, which always surprises people I feel that way. So, I have those moments. I like everything from my presentation to how we met in that dark room. ”
