NEW YORK – The glass thriller with Samuel L. Jackson is the top film of the long Martin Luther King weekend in North America. In the list of best-visited films, Glass is in first place, ahead of the number 1 of The Upside last week.
According to Comscore, Glass spent over $ 40 million in the drawer. That was slightly less than what analysts had hoped for. They went out of about 51 million.
Besides Samuel L. Jackson, there are also roles in Glass for Bruce Willis and James McAvoy. Despite that star cast, film critics could only rate the film moderately. In the psychological thriller Willis plays a jailer with a special gift. He uses it to reach the characters of a prisoner with a multiple personality disorder.
