Director Fabien Constant presented to the audience a trailer for his new musical drama, inspired by the films of the French new wave. Star caste, views of New York and beautiful musical accompaniment promise us something interesting.
At the beginning of November, the world release of the film “The Best Day of My Life” was released by director Fabien Constant, famous for the Mademoiselle C documentary film about the former editor of French Vogue Karin Roitfeld. This time he presents a musical drama, in which the main roles are performed by Sarah Jessica Parker, Renee Zellweger, Simon Baker, Taylor Kinney and others.
The plot of the film tells about the famous jazz singer, Vivien, who lives an eventful life, works on songs and prepares for performances, until one day she learns a terrible diagnosis from doctors. The incurable disease, which threatens to take her life away in the shortest possible time, makes Vivienne think about what was really important for her and what she can do in just a day.
It is noteworthy that this is not the only musical drama this year. Already, cinemas are storming the film “The Star was Born” with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The world premiere of “The Best Day in My Life” will take place on November 9, after which it will become clear who will receive a greater response in the hearts of viewers and critics: a singing actress or a singer who has tried on a dramatic role.
